Planning on hitting the LHBS for supplies today or tomorrow. Got my propane burner & fermentation chamber built. Thinking about a KOLSCH or CREAM ALE, something light for drinking poolside. I tried a St.Arnold's SANTOS the other day and loved it. Its a "dark kolsch"
Any thoughts on what to add to a regular kolsch recipe to make it more malty & a little darker? Raising the ABV is totally OK too. Looking for somehting the SWMBO would like. She's a Stella/Smitwicks gal.
Any recommendations on other brews that go well with sitting by the pool when its 105* outside?
