Default Podcasts...

Do you ever listen to brewing podcasts?

I downloaded a bunch of the archived Brewing Network episodes....some good info.

Its just a bunch of people like us with thier own radio show, pretty much.
They have some good guests on but it sure sounds like they have fun doing these shows. Entertaining for sure! One of the guys is from Morebeer, don't know backgrounds of the others cause I haven't listened to enough episodes yet.
They also have a special show that features a different style every week. Interesting.

The ones I've downloaded are from HERE.
I guess their are some on www.craftbeerradio.com as well, but I haven't downloaded these yet.

Anyone else tune in to these?

I've listened to craftbeerradio. Some of the episodes are pretty good...they've reviewed a few beers from around here and I found it cool to get an opinion on them (other than from me and my biased buddies).

I just found a nice podcast at http://www.basicbrewing.com/. It is very good. Been listening to the founder of Wyeast and there was a discussion on malted barley and how the process works. Very informative for a newbie like me.

Nothing Like resurrecting an old thread...

I've subbed to the podcasts mentioned in this thread. Are there any others that folks here find particularly interesting?

I filmed myself brewing once and wanted to start a video podcast, but I never got around to editing it and I didn't script it beforehand so I made a lot of mistakes, like calling grains and hops by the wrong name.

craft beer radio is a splendid podcast in regards to reviewing beer, so is big foamy head
As far as them beer brewing podcasts, I enjoy basic brewing radio. Sometimes that have some pretty insightful tips for even the seasoned AG brewer.

I find basic brewing radio a bit dry sometimes, but they do have excellent info. On the other hand I think the brewing network often has too much jaw wagging (with the exception of the Jamil Show which is freakin' fantastic) and sometimes wish they would get to the point. I like how their stuff is interactive and you can ask questions if you're tuned in live.
The BN has a new series called One Hour Boil, which consists of a non-live more information-rich interview. Anyone give this a go yet? The first one is with John Palmer.
