The Official Brew Of The Month Style Poll #1

Alright so incase you didn't catch it a few of us have decided to get together for a brew of the month, see link for a run down. http://www.homebrewtalk.com/f39/brew-month-142974/ This being the first brew of the month thread thus far bare with me as I organize things. That being said please go ahead and vote for your favorite style for this first brew of the month, polling will cease as of 11:59pm Oct. 31 MST, lol it's easier for me since I live here, from there, there will be a link to the recipes polling page for this Brew of the month. Closing date for this poll will be posted on Nov 1st within that thread. I will have links posted as soon as they are up so keep checking back. Have fun everyone, I see alot of potential for this so let's start it off right! Now go vote!

I voted for a porter as I think it will be the most appropriate during the late fall/early winter months when it will be ready.

Went with wheat personally only cause I really would like to make a good hefe, and I have only brewed 4 beers thus far lol. But I agree a good stout, porter, brown, would work well seeing as the time frame. Glad to see people taking an interest.

I'm sorry, but I don't understand....there's a HUGE recipe database on this forum already; not to mention many other internet sites.

What will voting on a style of the month accomplish?

I voted Porter, but mainly because I just placed an order today for the ingredients for a Porter....

votin on a style will determine the Winning style for the month, will then pick a winning Recipe of the Month and participating folks will brew it with brewing notes and tasting notes. Ithink?

i definitely think we should brew up seasonal beers for when it will be ready. options like hefe's and lawnmower types should be only available during the spring time for summer.

Looks like porter's running away with it, I'm not sure if I have a problem but I feel like we should be gambling on this.
