Default Northern Brewer = awesome customer service.

I had my first problem with an order from Northern Brewer.

They have been my primary go to since I started brewing in July. I have had absolutely no issues until yesterday. I had ordered 2 kettle valve kits and they came with the wrong nipple in them so that they could not be tightened fully.
One was also missing the barb.

I emailed last night stating that I was going to replace the wrong and missing parts locally. I received a reply today with a credit code as requested. I will be placing an order soon.

BTW the credit is for more than what I told them I would spend on the replacement parts so I am very satisfied.

Northern Brewer -

They accidentally shipped me the wrong wyeast pack once and shipped the correct one overnight to me with a hand written apology.

They are great.

On my second to last order I ordered some of the basic plastic tap handles, amongst other things. One of them was stripped and wouldn't screw on to the tap properly. They sent me a replacement immediately, along with a complimentary NB pint glass. Gotta love those guys!

I just ordered a dry Irish stout and caribou slobber from them. First time I've ordered from them. I'm hopping I can have the stout for st pattys. I've been hearing longer is better for stouts and porters. I have only one kit under my belt.

They've been my go to for nearly every order I've placed in the last 1.5 years. I had my first issue about 2 months ago. I ordered a pound of simcoe among a bunch of other stuff and the hops didn't show up.

I called, they were all over it and sent it out the next day along with their cool NB pint glass.

Awesome customer service, BTV is entertaining, order to door is fastest of anyone and they're almost always the cheapest of anyone. BMW is sometimes cheaper...but they take forever to get shipment out and the time lost isn't worth the $3.00 difference.

Got a free pint glass a couple weeks ago.

I dont mind an occassional screw up from vendors, but it is nice to get a freebie when it happens.

I love NB
