Default in need of a triumphant return

Hey guys. I've been out of the hobby for about a year now due to financial difficulties (mainly lack of a job). but now i have a paycheck coming again and I'm looking for a good comeback beer. A friend said maybe i should go back to my beginnings and make the first beer i ever made (a BB brown ale kit). that sounds like nifty idea but not all that fun. Anyone here got any suggestions?

Hefeweizen. Quick and simple, outstanding if brewed right. Not for everyone, though.

+1 on a wheat beer. It's fast and will give you a HB to enjoy while you boil up your 2nd and 3rd "reunion tour" batches.
