No info yet. Assuming the brew-magic runs around 8,ooo this has to be at least 25 g's but probably more. Dogfish Head had a hand in designing this. But why come out with a 2bbl system? Can't make any money with it. Seems like the brew-magic would be the better choice for recipe development simply because its more compact.

this is actually pretty good! i love the idea....
there is a brew shop here in portland that also has their own bar in the back with their beer. and they brew 15 gallon batches at a time.
They just got 45 gallon jacketed fermentors, so this would be wonderful for them.

Wow that's beautiful!! I am sure it is overpriced but it still looks nice. As someone who is looking into the nano route all I have to say is...if you are looking at a 2bbl system you might as well look at a 3, 5, or 7 bbl system.

I had a feeling something like this was in the works.

Also: @ sanibel14 Can't make any money on 2bbl? I think that's been roundly disproved. Hell, Hess has been brewing <400bbl each year on a 1.6bbl system out of what is essentially an 800sqft storage unit and has made enough money to not only run the place, but expand into a 30bbl brewhouse in a new building, renovate the property, build a proper tasting room, and buy a canning line.

This thing will be expensive (I think 25k is pretty conservative), but I think it'll be cheap for such a nice, turnkey system.

90K!! That's outrageous!! I guess it is for someone who has more money than brains. You can build a pretty nice 1 bbl system for less than 3-4K. I can't believe they actually expect anyone to buy it.

Yikes. Can't imagine anyone out there spending that much on a 2 bbl system. For pilot batches, I'd just get a Brew Magic and then use the remaining $83,000 on a real brewing system.
