"Löwenbräu" (Lou-ven-broy in German) or "Lowenbrau" (Low-when-brow in English) means lions brew.

In the Middle Ages the "lion" was the symbol for the "king".

There must be a thousand Lowenbrau's in Germany.

Ya, not a griffin - or a griffawn for that matter.

With my days in geekdom, I know the difference

Todd, what's the interest in that type of Lion?
I've always liked the Lowenbrau and Peugeot logos and if I ever get into labeling I may use one. That's all!
