Default My first Pliny and a Blind Pig too!

Yesterday I got to go to Russian River brewery for the first time. I had a pint of Vinnie's Blind Pig, Got a Blind Pig T shirt and a Pint bottle (500ml) of Pliny the Elder to go which I am enjoying now as I type. Both Pliny and Pig are huge hop bombs. Vinnie Cilurzo is definitely one of the wild men of brewing. I love his art and the big hop burps too. It was one of my favorite beer days ever.I recommend that you make your way to RRBCo If you ever get a chance.

I love the Pliny!

My first experience with a IIPA was Ruination and was totally turned off. I hated it and haven't had one since. That was last year.

Anyways, I heard so much about Russian river and got a chance to go up there the other weekend and well... to make a long story short, I came home with like 7 bottles of the stuff.
