I don't know why this annoys me, but this has happened about 3 times

Me: I homebrew
Them: I'd like to make whiskey, now that'd be cool.

This usually means, I know nothing about beer, therefore I have nothing to add to your conversation

My uncle recently said "you should let it ferment longer " to a blonde ale that was in the fermenter for a month!
