Met Mitch Steele tonight
 

Was at Naja's Place in Redondo Beach tonight for my homebrew club meeting, and it just happened to coincide with a Stone Brewing event that is part of LA Beer Week.

A bit before the official meeting got started, Mitch wandered back to where I was shooting the sh&t with some fellow club members and we had a nice chat about brewing and the like, and got to share a couple of our brews with him and get some good feedback.

I managed to get a quick photo of myself with The Man before he wandered off:

I ran into him subsequently as I was working the room and talking to various friends. He's just a really nice guy who loves beer... I hope to meet him again sometime.

Lucky Bastard (pun intended). I've gone to Stone's hideout in Escondido on a near-weekly basis for 4-5 months running and I have yet to see either Mitch or Steve wandering about.

ALL I WANT IS A HIGH-FIVE, STEVE. IS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK?!?! :D
