+1 for Stubbys
Great service and lots of knowlege. Stopped by last night and he had a good amount of used ball lock kegs for less than $50. Those are getting hard to find.

I'm at the far south tip of Denton and work in Dallas. I'm relatively new to the area (a little over a year) - still getting to know locations.
Looks like I'll have to check out stubbies at some point when I'm in that area. My main LHBS is winemakers toystore in Carrolton. Decent prices - don't want to take the time to compare too closely.

I actually work in Corinth, very close to where you live. Who knows maybe we can brew sometime.
Still would love to meet people a little closer to my front door. Surely there are some folks on HBT in my area, right?

If you work in Corinth you're often nearly next door. I too, want to meet people closer to my front door. Seems everyone is in McKinney, Dallas or Fort Worth.
That said, you're welcome to swing by for a beer or on a weekend I'm brewing.

That'd be great. Maybe I'll brink some samples by someday and we can compare. I'd love some honest feedback from someone who knows what good beer should taste like. Most of my friends would drink warm goat piss if it was handed to them so they're no help. I'll keep in touch.

How do they compare to Homebrew HQ in Richardson? That's usually where I go, simply because they are the closest to me.

their prices on the web site are not very good, 2.29 per oz for hops? 1.49 per lbs for 2 row? those are not good prices.

I dont think the website is fully functional yet, you really should stop in and see them, great folks with a passion for homebrew.
