Brewed up a 2.5 gal all grain BIAB today - my first venture away from extract!! I did a lot of research on this wonderful forum and felt really prepared. My biggest concern was water volume because with the extracts it really didnt matter.

I could bore you with all the specifics, but long story short, it went awesome. Hit all the numbers better than I thought I could!

Nice...I brew either 5 gal. partial mash BIAB or AG 2.5 gal BIAB like you just did. I don't find it much more difficult then extract w/ steeping grains and have always hit my expected #s pretty close. I'm so happy with my results, I don't see myself stepping up to a regular AG setup anytime soon.
