If I had to guess, he wanted something easy to drink for the masses, that was different from the Bud and Bud Light that most of the bikers drink at the Full Throttle Saloon.

The real killer is the last line about how "it's great on it's own or garnished with fruit."

When I think of Jesse James Dupree playing a chainsaw solo with Jackyl, I can't imagine him backstage with a tall foamy wheat garnished with an orange wedge.
