If you love Rye... then look for this beer in/around Georiga. It is one of my favorite beers and is freaking awesome...

I agree Terrapin makes my favorite Rye and I've used this extact recipe several times with great success. I liked it so much I've been working on converting it to AG (first try is in the bottles now).

I love Thurn und Taxis Roggen. Will make some roggenbier this summer.

Other than traditional roggenbier, rye was used to brew poor people's beer, along with oats. I have an idea of making such beer: 25% rye malt, 25% malted oats, 50% barley malt.

Here's the $20 kit from Austin Home Brew:

It's a Blonde Rye Ale part of their $20/kit deal. I'm going to give it a try as a partial mash, and I've got some extra DME, Centennial and Amarillo hops I might play around with to boost it a little, too.

This is encouraging. I had that Sam Adams Revolutionary Rye and swore I would never drink rye again.

I have brewed Austin Homebrews Bear Republic HopRod Rye clone and it turned out amazing. I will be doing it again and again!
