My first brew is getting racked to secondary this weekend, after that we'll have 2. I brew with the girlfriend, so she's in favor. We just stick them back in a storage room in the basement so they're not taking up foot space.

I just do one beer at a time and I use one fermenter for all steps. I have a bunch of other hobbies I do that take a lot of my time too. I also don't drink too much homebrew as it tends to be stronger that what I like to drink gets me drunk too fast. I like it a lot though. I thought of brewing lighter beers but then I would go through it too fast and need to brew a lot and that would be too much for me. It’s a hobby for me, not a beer source.

If you include my 1 gallon growler/fermentors I have 10 right now. But I have 3 five gallon batches right now.

2 Beers about to be bottled in the next day or two, then two beers that went on the other day, five Imperial gallons in each one.
Then I have four 1 gallon fermenters on the go with wines in and one five gallon wine,

So four beers and 5 wines presently.

I'll have two free fermenters in the next few days and will have to order more to get the pipeline running, that's my main problem, I have a windfall of cash coming shortly so am gonna buy enough kits to get my bottles all filled so I can then ease off a bit and just put on one every two weeks or so and keep a nice stock built and aging.

I have 4 I try to keep going. I wish I had more, but have a huge nada on the space issue. When we go looking for a house and a job here in a little over a year, brew space and potential brew space will be a HUGE priority

I like to drink more than 6 beers before calling it a night so I usually drink more commercial light beers than I do my homebrew. I can drink more of the light beers but I still like to drink a few homebrews now and then.
If I tried to brew enough light beer for my regular consumption I wouldn't have time for my other hobbies.

Still confused?

4 going right now. It'll be down to 3 when I bottle the pilsner this weekend. I have to plan 2 more beers to fill the empty ones.
