Default How to find the nutritional value of your homebrew?

Anyone know how to measure the nutritional values of their brews?

I am curious if anyone can direct me to some kind of resource i could use to figure out the nutritional value (especiall calories) of my homebrews...If it's even possible without a lab. I have searched on google and all i can find are nutritional calculators for food recipes which don't seem to work...

BeerTools does calorie counts. I'm not sure how accurate it is, but it's enough for me. And believe me...once you find out how many calories are in a single homebrew, you'll wish you wouldn't have.

I would be particularly interested in the US Recommended Daily Allowance. I want to make sure I am keeping up.

All i know is that beersmith says my 10.5% belgian dark strong has 511 calories per pint. I wish I had known that before i bottled all of it in 750ml corked bottles!

Amen to this. I work out, but I'm proud of my baby beer gut. It shows I'm keeping up with my hobby.

For anything other than kcal, you'll need to send a sample to a lab. By the way, it's illegal to put nutritional information (other than kcal) on beer labels.
