I had a random thought today. Let's say I have two different types of hops (made up numbers):
Which would bitter more at the following levels?
5% AAU = 60 minutes
10% AAU = 30 minutes
I ask because I just did a porter and it came out a little more bitter than I wanted and I used a low aau hop (I believe it was Fuggle at around 5.5%).
With the above boil times, would they bitter the same since you're using an AAU double the first one, but for half the time?
