Default Homebrew Contest in my town!!!!

Just found out that Sam Adams is sponsoring a homebrew contest in Sioux Falls! They are having 3 different tasting days at three different bars here from April to June and the winner will be name Sioux Falls Brewmaster (which isn't saying too much in this town, lol) plus they win a trip to the 2007 Great American Beer Festival! I don't have alot of experience yet but I might just throw something together and see what happens! At least I'll get to see what people think of my beer and what kind of a homebrew community we have around here. That is all for now...

Cool! Long way from here, but you've got a nice event to enter/attend/enjoy.

I bought the sampler of last years winners... The Boysenberry wheat was of the chain!!! There was a german style lager that was really good to. The last of the three was like drinking...... well...... not sure how to explain but in the end I had to pinch my nose and choke it down. I am an avid beer drinker but that brew was tough to finish.

Good luck on you brewing for the contest!!
