Default Homebrew Competitions

So, I finally entered my first homebrew comp after more than 14 months of brewing and I've got the fever now (we won a Gold in a local comp for our Belgian Pale Ale). I am wondering how people find out about competitions, both local and large scale? Websites? Blogs? E-mail lists? Thanks,

http://www.bjcp.org/apps/comp_schedule/competition_schedule.php

That is a list of AHA/BJCP Sanctioned competitions. The AHA hosts the same list on their site.

Word of mouth is good. Depending on what you want (easy wins, good prizes, good scoresheets, MCAB qualification) some competitions will be much better than others.

Do you live downtown? There's 5280 Fermentation Society.
