ok. Im about to begin my boil for my belgian dubbel which calls for cane sugar, which i dont have. Will regular granulated sugar work, or maybe even corn sugar?

I can go to the store and get cane sugar if i need to, I was just wondering if it matters?

I have brewed belgians over the years using all three types at different times and have not found a noticable difference in flavor of the finished beer. I would use what is available. There is some slight variance in the gravity between the 3.

Regular granulated sugar generally is either cane or beet sugar. No real difference other than the source.
