You should just RDW.....It will be fine.
The thing to remember is, even with a dry airlock is that the bad stuff are not ninja acrobats....whether it is a 3 piece or an s type, they would have to get through the cap at the top, then either negotiate a series of twist and turns through an S shaped "track" OR have to dive down, then climb up the center post under the plastic bubbler, then lift said bubbler up enough to the make it into the center post and dive into your fermenter....and STILL have to negotiate the rising co2 current pushing out of the fermenter itself....Think about it...Even without water in there, do you think a piece of dust can make this journey?
Needless to say a piece of dust ain't gonna make it. And not much else either. Relax

Definitely relax. Just fill it back up and put it back in, or switch to a blow-off. What kind of beer is it?

Ok. Don't worry. During fermentation there is so much CO2 escaping that it is very unlikely that you got an infection. In fact once there is a Krausen, you could actually open it up to the air (although I don't recomend doing this until you have more exp.)
Just resanitize your airlock and put it back on. Now a blow off tube can simply be a 1" diameter hose stuck right into the top of your carboy and the other end submerged in a container of sanitized water.

And I was just going to mention success found with open fermentation. Revvy's answer is tough to add to

Better photoshopping would help though. Don't you just love my straight lines?
