I got to see my last batch, a big IPA, floating the bell inside the airlock. Had it been a triple ripple (s-bend) airlock I bet it would have been blowing the liquid out. That was pretty cool.

Yeah I did a wheat, and caught it in the middle of the yeast going crazy it was rolling like crazy

Brew enough batches and you get past the need, or burning need, to see the early fermentation. Ferment inside stainless steel and you get over it REAL fast.

My favorite was a Sam Boston based recipe, the krausen clogged the air lock and popped the bucket lid. Blew chunks of hops and wort all over my floor in the middle of the night. It was a PITA to clean up but still cool.
