tapped into some old bottles last night, that were pretty funky from a brew almost three years ago, when we moved house. long story short, they sat in the secondary in the house that was waiting to be sold for a long time. when we finally sold the house, i transported them back to ohio, after bottling them. something wasn't right then, but i figured what the hell.
last night, whilst the kid and i were outside, i grabbed one and opened it. the pop and whoosh and then the foam pouring out had the kid in stitches... do another one she cried, do another one!!!
we did three out of that batch, all with the same explosive results.
maybe we'll crack the rest tonight to rescue the bottles from the funk!
