Do any of you fellow homebrewers know of a handy guide that shows how long various styles will last after bottled? I know wheat beers get funky fairly quickly while barley wines and strong dark beers can last years. I would like to start archiving some of my brew, but I don't want to let them age beyond their drinkable life.
If there isn't a guide, maybe we should work on one. I think the "born on date" on many beers is useless if we don't know how long it should last from that date.
