Default Green Beer

Is making green beer for St. Pats day anything more then adding food coloring? Im guessing if you have an amber beer and add some blue you will get green. At what point do you add it? I was going to do it before kegging. Any Thoughts? Thanks

I haven't had green beer since when I first started drinking, I usually just go with Guinness on St. Paddy's these days. Every time I've had green beer I believe they just mixed yellow & blue food coloring and added it to whatever light lager they had on tap.
