My wife and I held a Christmas party on sunday with two of my homebrews being the main attraction. Several of my " beer buddy" have alway like what I brew, but now it was the main course for over 60 people. I made a nut brown ale adding 1,1/2 punds of honey and 1 pound of brown sugar. My other brew was a simple cream ale. Both brews were a hugh sucess. I even had a devoted " wine" drinker taste the nut brown. Her comment and I quote was " If all beer tasted as good as this, I would start drinking beer again". She asked if I had any in bottle she could bring home.
to compliment the beer I served homemade pull pork and shrimp and shallop jumbolya.
It's nice to know I must be doing something right.
