glucose is actually the same thing as corn sugar. This is what most people actually use to prime their beer.

You are following standard procedures.

edit: wait... I got my sugars confused again. the sugar that actually gets extracted from corn is glucose, but the refining process turns it into dextrose.

Damn sugars.

Thanks for that info ,,

ive used coopers drops in the past but the drops are too big to use with the standard bottles here in ireland ,

I have just finished bottling my new batch ,which for the first time iv bulk primed with glucose ,,150g for 23lt

its states on the can to add 200g but ive been informed that that may be too much i have no idea its a trial and error process for me at the moment ,,

ive used sugar in the past to prime my beer and its been very sweet as you can imagine but this time ive used glucose so lets hope it works out better ,,

my homebrew supplier also supplied me with a different brewing sugar this time round and even before i bottles my beer it tasted great better than normal ,,

maybe this time ive got things right ha ha

anyway thanks for the info
hope to chat with ya again soon

Mark
