Free is a very appropriate price for the book...

Thanks for the find though, I know you're just trying to pass on helpful deals.

Agreed. I just downloaded it for the heck of it and found a couple of gems:

-American lagers are also known to cause minimal health issues since water content is higher and they are lighter in alcohol
-The American type comes with little calories by adding only a small amount of barley and hops to it while European ones are whitish colored and taste mild
-Dark lagers are special because they are prepared with barley and hops that are baked beforehand
-Since the yeast in the bottled concotion is still living, they start consuming more and more sugar from the beer and increases alcohol content. Thus, gueze is considered to be a highly alcoholic beer
- The entire homebrewing your own beer section is hilarious

Take home message: Download it for a laugh. Read the beer styles and feel bad for anyone that buys this book to learn.

That's the issue with the 'free' kindle books. Most of them seem to be self published stuff that shouldn't have seen the light of day. I did snag a cooking with beer E-book that has a few recipes that I'm gonna give a whirl at some point, but that has been an exception to the rule.

I'll add another exception...
"Beer is proof that God loves us" by Charlie Bamforth was a steal when it was free.

+1 this book is terrible. Anyone know what Hyper Beer is?
"Hyper Beer
As the name suggest, this is perhaps the beer that contains the maximum amount of alcohol and hence the name."

What?

The title must reflect how much time he spent researching for the book!
