Default Flaked Wheat vs Torrefied Wheat for head retentionn

I have been using flaked wheat for head retention, but recently read that torrefied wheat is for the same purpose. Which is best to use? I do have a mill on hand. Is one better than the other, more expensive?

I think they both work or maybe even they are the same thing. Torrified is harder to find that's the only difference I know of.
