Default First time not hitting the mark

Brewing a stout that the OG should have been 1.070 but the grain soaked more heat than I calculated for and the wort came out at 1.060...I am dissapoint.

Should still be good but this was a stupid mistake on my part and I can't help but be a little pissed. I'm gonna drink a few tonight.

Bummer--still, it's in the style guidelines, and it'll probably be great! RDWHAHB.

Yeah the wort tastes great and I kinda have to roll with it either way...or I can explain to the bosss why I dumped 3bbl

It is just the first time I have missed the mark by that much and it stung a little because I was wanting to put out a nice stout in the 8% range instead of the 6% range.

Oh wow I guess that's a little more serious than just a 5-gal. mistake. Still, I'm sure it'll be fine.
