Default Favorite Type Beer

What's your favorite style of beer, and your favorite brand of that style?

I love a great Porter and Rogue's Mocha Porter is my fave.

I'm with you- I love porters. Haven't tried Rogue's yet, but I made a kick-ass vanilla porter last December that was one of my favorite beers I've ever had. I had another good porter this past weekend, but can't remember who made it.

Highland's Oatmeal Porter is great, too.

I'm on a big Porter kick as well! Bridgeport's Cafe Negro Porter and Deschutes Black Butte Porter are two of my favorites right now. My absolute favorite is from a local Oklahoma brewer, COOP Aleworks GranSport Porter. It's amazing, but hard to find on tap around here.

I'm also a little partial to my homebrew Porter that I'm about to run out of...

Right now, I am really into stouts. One of my favorite beers ATM is Troegs Java Head Stout. I just love the complexity of the deep flavors in a good stout
