I picked up a whole case when I was in Colorado last time and ended up giving almost every one of them away. I thought it was me. I'm glad to hear that other's have had that experience also.

It had that stale cardboard taste you associate with oxygenated beer.

At any rate, I'm with you. I'm through with them.

I didn't want to be a naysayer but I gave it a try a few months ago as I was assembling my bottle collection. The least of my favorites. Can't put my finger on it but I didn't care for it.

That and the bottles ended up sucking. Those labels are epoxied on and the bottles are shorter than normal.

Don't know what the hubbub is...

I too, enjoy the AHS Fat Tire clone. I have heard from more than one person it tastes like Fat Tire did a few years ago before they ramped up production. What you get today is, as previous post attest, a very inconsistent product.
