Default extra hops from extract kit.

I brewed an extract kit today. The directions left me with 1/2 oz of Williamette pellet hops. Any ideas what i should do with them?

I'd stick them in a ziploc bag and chuck 'em in the freezer. It's always nice to have some extra hops to add a little kick to a recipe...

Was it a pale ale or IPA by chance? If so, dry hop that sucker.
Or do what I do and break a couple pellets up over your salad with dinner tonight.

Too late now...but I would have thrown them in with the rest. +1 on dry hopping.

I'd read the directions again.

It happens but, it's rare that too many hops are in the mix.

I'm a former dipper and I've found that putting some hop pellets in my lip is flavorful like tobacco and gives you a nice little stinging sensation after a while, yet you don't need to spit. I think it would be enjoyable for most people who like hops. Plus you don't have the side effects, or addition that tobacco comes with.
