Default Encounters with wildlife!!!

So I set out to make my first partial mash batch today... after the boil I decided that since it's still pretty cold outside here in northern New York I ought to take advantage of the biggest refrigerator in the world and cool my hot wort in the great outdoors (my back porch).

I went back inside and cleaned up a bit 'til it was time to check on the pot. As I walked down the stairs I could see from the window that my makeshift tin foil lid had been flown aside by the wind.... or so I thought! Two very large dark bushy cats surrounded my wort as if seeking their next meal. Like a mother protecting her cubs I chased them away but now I can only pray that they didn't piss in my beer.

My pending honorary names are 2 Cats Ale, Cat Piss Ale or Ale-y-Cat.

I've never had a problem with animals, just curious neighbors.

Alleycat Amber Ale I think Lost Coast beat you to it.

Two Cats Ale sounds good.
I think they'd of had to go to an awful lot of trouble to actually piss in your wort. Maybe they were attracted by the warmth.

So as I am walking out the door this morning I think to my self:
"self, going to work on Monday is like knowing you're going to get kicked in the nuts. You just don't know when or by who"
