Default dry hopping and amount of hops

So i'm a confessed hop-head and I will be dry hopping my current fermenting brew in a few weeks. In a 6 gallon batch will 1oz. of cascade hop pellets be to much or not enough? sierra nevada, sweetwater 420 and the IPA are my current favorites. I would rather have to much (within reason) than not enough. Thoughts and opinions please

i would go with 2oz personally. i've found that 1 adds a nice dimension, but not nearly enough to make me say "damn, that smells good."

yep, I would say 2oz for an APA and 3-4oz for an IPA

I've got 1.5 oz in a 3 gallon batch of IPA. Suits me fine and I'm a hophead.

I usually find that more than two ounces for dry hopping leaves a grassy taste in the beer.

I usually stick to ~2 oz for my IPAs, but will bump it up if I'm feeling crazy. Max i've gone is 4, and it's been great too....I think you get diminishing returns at some point though.
