Default Decent Beer Bar in LA?

I've been spending time at PubCrawler and the Beermapping websites to find a decent beer bar in LA. I'm flying into Burbank next Sunday to spend three days on business. Most of my time will be spent from downtown LA up to Palmdale. I can't find anything that interests me. Toronado, Stone Brewing, and Green Flash are too far away to consider. Can anyone suggest a good beer bar or microbrewery in SoCal?

Also, there is a Yardhouse in LA and another in Pasadena.

Not sure how much this helps but here's a list of some places in LA and what they have new to offer. It's updated every week.

My favorite beer bar is Naja's but it is in Redondo Beach and that's a good drive from Downtown.

Naja's is good. There's also Congregation Ale house that just opened in Long Beach, but again its a bit of a drive.

On the west side, you've got 2 Father's Office's to choose from (culver city and santa monica) as well as The Library and The Daily Pint.
