Default corn sugar

I brewed an imperial blonde extract recipe. One of the ingredients was corn sugar, added at the beginning of the boil. I have done recipes which call for the addition at the end of the boil, curious as to why the reverse with this recipe and the difference. The beer turned out very good so there is no problem, just curious.

It doesn't really matter, but I would add it at the end of the boil.

Always add simple sugars at the end. You will get improved hop utilization.
