Default Competitions
Anyone here know if its acceptable to enter a beer into two different categories?

Often, yes.

If it's not, it will be spelled out in the rules of that specific competition, so check the rules!

Usually different categories is OK, but different styles within the same category is not OK.

Most competitions I've seen state that you can enter multiple subcategories, but you can't enter two different beers in the same subcategory.
