Popular styles, like IPAs and Belgians, have boat-loads of entries. But, the most important thing to remember is, you are brewing to a style sheet. Competitions are not about innovation or imagination (except 23), they are about quality and brewing to style. First competition I judged, the best beer of the flight got nailed. It was a great Mild, entered as an ESB.
