Default Competition advice

I just learned of a near by homebrew contest (http://www.temeculahomebrewers.com/) and am considering entering. The dead line is tomorrow so I need to hurry but before I do I want to make sure i'm entering it into the right category.

It's a whiskey barrel porter (northern brewers bourbon barrel). I was thinking that would fall under category 22a: wood-aged beer. That would be correct right? Seems kind of obvious but I just want to be absolutely sure and I'm not too familiar with all of the categories.

Also it's acceptable to submit kit beer right? I really just want feed back and constructive criticism to improve my brewing above all else.

Thanks
