Sure, there are a few.

Barley's Brewey, which has two locations. One on high street and one in grandview.

Then there is Elevator, also on High street. They have pretty good beers and a mug club.

There is also Columbus Brewing Company, but I'm personally not the biggest fan of their beers.

Finally, you have the chain breweries as well, like Gordon Beirsch and BJ's.

I've been to Barley's on High Street and thought their beers were pretty good. It's been a few years though.

You could PM forum member SOB, but he's on vacation this week.
I plan to move to Cbus in the near future, so maybe I'll see your bro there!

From Cincinnati and just went camping last weekend near Columbus. On the recommendation of a friend, I stopped at Barley's on High and picked up a growler of Scottish Ale - pretty good beer. I would like to stop by again and try more of their beers. They have a pale ale with Sorachi Ace hops that I would like to try.

I remember Rickenbacker's near the airport as a pretty nice bar.

High St is a pretty cool college scene if you're into that sort of thing. Probably some decent bars with decent beer. I was always too drunk to remember which ones were good.

My house! Wait, good, scratch that. The ones above are all good. There's also a place in town (the name of which escapes me at the moment) that has a really good selection of bottled brews. I'll get back here when I think of the name.

Also, most of the bars on high street are just outlets for college kids to drink tons of Natty, I've been quite disappointed (except when I fulfill my college aged tendencies and drink crappy beer).

I'll agree with high street up by campus has a bunch of natty bars, however, Barley's and Elevator are closer to downtown, in the nicer areas. I'd say the crowd here is mid 20's to much older. Very comfortable setting, if that's what you're about

After checking the good ol internet i directed my brother his wife and my parents who were out there helping them move to Barleys smokehouse. The said the Beer was fantastic and the food, some of the best pub food they have ever had, and we have 3 very very good choices of brewpubs here in Lincoln and Omaha so that is no small statement.

I plan on visiting them in about 2 months or so and i will give my official review then.
