Bob, those are the best, when they are fresh off your crazy mind. I used to do that with my friends and a guitar. I'd use Zeppelin or Beatles songs and make up X-rated lyrics to make fun of the friends in the room. Even if you're bad, you can still leave them in stitches because it's genuine.

Ok. You were warned. Had a brew day today - Oak Barrel Bourbon Porter (NB). One of my buddies wanted to hear "I'm dreaming of a wort Christmas." But all I could come up with was this.

Sung to the tune of "Let it Snow."

Well the recipe's on the table
And the SWMBOs said we're able.
There's nothing we'd rather do.
Let us brew, let us brew, let us brew.

Oh the kettle is slowly heatin'
And we've got some chips for eatin'.
We steep grain at 152.
Let us brew, let us brew, let us brew.

When we finally add the hops
How I love to first take me a sniff.
Pellets, whole leaf or plugs,
For me it just don't make a diff!

Oh the wort's ready for some chillin'
The Carboy we'll soon be fillin'.
Got our starter of [WLP]002
Let us brew,
let us brew,
let us brew.

Bring a beer, Jeanette Isabella!
Bring a beer to me and run!
We can't be out, ask the neigbors;
We can't be out, I'll brew some more.
Ah, ah, beautiful is the wort.
Ah, ah, beautiful is the beer.
