The APA I brewed for Thanksgiving was such a hit that I'm making it again tonight...but with an extra special twist..... I'm brewing it with my 21 year old son, who has never brewed before. Actually, we haven't done much together since he was maybe 16 and discovered cars, girls and how dorky parents are. In the 5 years since that He joined the Army, got married, went away to Iraq, came home, had a baby, grew up a lot, and is now on leave. I mentioned last night that I'd like it sometime if he'd brew with me and he surprised me with a "yeah, I'd like that too". We went to my favorite LHBS (Jasper's for you guys that know it) tonight and bought ingredients with an extract with grains. Steeping now. I'm happy and excited.
