Default Brewing an american dark lag-ale?

haha, So I picked up an extract recipe for an american dark lager today only I don't have the cooling systems required to lager it. ( yes I got yeast for the right temperatures)

So what is it? an american brown ale? That sounds dirty.

It'd still be a lager if that's still the yeast you use. Sorta technically you could say it's a "Steam Beer" but Anchor Brewery somehow managed to swipe the trademark for that reference to lager fermented at ale temperatures.

Which is why I'm working to coin the phrase "Hot Lager"!

ah, what I meant to say is that I bought yeast that is better suited for Ale temperatures, seeing as that's how It will be fermenting.
