Default Brewhouse Premium American Lager

I've got this one aging right now for St Pats day. My friends only like the "yellow beers" like Miller and Budweiser so I thought I'd see how this compares.

Question being that this is labeled as a lager. Although it comes with the Coopers dry yeast packet and says to ferment around 68-72degrees. I wouldn't think this would qualify as a lager. It is using the same yeast that they include in all their styles and it's pretty much fermented at room temp.

Has anyone tried this one before?

Default

Brewhouse kits have either cooper's or Windsor I think. Not technically lager, but it's not unusual for a basic kit to do that. I have not brewed that kit.

Default technically a pilsner brewed with ale yeast is

called a cream ale. It's still very good, but it's going to have the ale esters flavor instead of the lack of yeast flavor you get with a lager yeast.
