Default best way to store brews

I am starting to store some brews that are usually limited, age well, and my home brews. What is the best way to go about this (temp, light, etc)

Cool and dark is the way to go. I have shelves in my basement away from natural light that stores all my brews.

If kegged and refrigerated, will homebrew last indefinitely?

if they're kegged under pressure, and kept in a cool place, they'll last close on a year
