Default Best Breakfast Beer

My well went down today, and the only thing in the house to drink this morning is Dr. Pepper and beer. Since Dr. Pepper for breakfast is just wrong, I had a porter and it was great. Not overpowering, with a hint of molasses. Om nom nom.

What is everyone else's favorite breakfast beer?

PBR mixed with orange juice. Bromosa is what we call them.

Hmm I don't usually have beer with breakfast but I would imagine a good stout.

You must use a light beer(lager). I am not so sure it would be very good with a flavorful ale.... I was hesitant at first but man is it good.

Pick up this month's BYO. It has a whole section on using breakfast ingredients in beer: bacon, oatmeal, sugar breafast cereals.

I'm seriously thinking about a Boo-berry Pale Ale.

Bottling the Belgian: A Photo Odyssey

Beer is the mind-killer. Beer is the little death that brings total obliteration. I will face my beer. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see it's path. When the beer has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

An Irish Red Ale is great too. A good malty Porter with biscuits and gravy is awesome....
