I was just recalling a scene in the movie Beerfest, when after brewing the "secret family recipe" beer, it was nigh heavenly when they drank it. Are there any clues in the movie that we might glean in order to reproduce one of Germany's finest beers?
From what I remember from the recipe in the movie, it only stated kilograms of malt and hops with no specifics. Given that the beer was a slight amber color, and that it was around Munich at Oktoberfest, I'd say it's an Oktoberfest beer.
All I could think of at that scene was "where would early 19th century Bavarians procure 2 cans of Pasteurized malt extract?"
That scene aside, Frau Blucher played a mean whore.
