Default Beer - Vegas Style

Any suggestion near the strip for some good microbrews?

Sin City Brewing Co., in the Flamingo. Be prepared to shell out some major coin though. Everything in that city is grossly overpriced. (e.g., $6.00 for Coors light, $7.00 for Corona).

The Yardhouse is about 2 miles south of the strip. Quick taxi ride. Over a 100 craft beers on Tap. Not microbrew, but a great beer experience with good food.

Burger Bar @ Mandalay Bay. Probably one of your best options down on the strip.

Another place just to have a craft pint on the strip is Pour 21, at New York, New York.

The Pub in Monte Carlo has a more extensive selection than the Burger Bar. Both are worth visiting and on the pricey side. There is supposed to be a good place at the Wynn but I haven't checked it out yet. There is a hofbrauhaus just off the strip where you can get your liter beer on. I'm not sure what the offerings from hofbrau are there.

I was there at the end of July and Sin City was doing two pitchers for $15, so that was a good deal. The hefe is excellent. The other beers I didn't like.

My all time favorite spot to grab a drink, Pour24 in the New York New York. 24 beers on tap, Deadlift IPA, DFH60 min IPA, Stone, a good mix of stouts, etc..

Great place to people watch with a liquid lunch.

Overpriced? Yes. But you are in Vegas

**EDIT** Our last time out there we stayed in the PH Towers which dumps into the mile mall, Sin City was right there. I had one of their beers, I can't remember which, but I wasn't a fan; it tasted way green to me. SWMBO had the hefe, she thought it was good.

that's right, its Pour 24, not 21(oops). Easy walk over the walkway from the MGM. Bartender was great about recommending some of the offerings from the west coast that I can't get at home. He was the one that told me about the Yardhouse.

so far my favorite is the pub in the monticarlo, well over 400 beers available. I also like Sin City Brewing in the miracle mile, they offer growler plus fill for $13.

Just got back from there Tuesday.

Todd English P.U.B. in Crystals at City Center on the strip, good selection and half price pints daily, I forget what time that is at.

The pub at Monte Carlo has 125 taps.

Sin City at Flamingo is closed, they are renovating that part of the casino.
