Beer Bottle Reindeer for Christmas?
|
|
Growing up my aunts had all kinds of neat crafts around x-mas. I distinctly remember a reindeer with wooden legs, with a beer bottle for a body. There was also felt, and pipe-cleaners involved.
I thought that I might try making a few of these as things (some with beer, some without) for friends this year. I called my aunt who is getting up there in years, and while she remembers the beer bottle reindeer, she couldn't remember how she made them. She got the idea at a craft show in the 70s.
I'm hoping that someone else here has seen one, or might even have a picture of one, so that I can reproduce them. Anyone getting this? Or am I talking crazy?
Thanks!

3 days searching, and nothing. I even tried looking at online archives of homemaker type magazines.
Yuri, did you find anything?
